Spur of the moment Potluck for visiting FOCUS Coordinators

This week-end, the Vigils, a young couple who well may be the FOCUS coordinators for our campus beginning Fall 2011, will be coming to Nacogdoches to visit.  The Vigils have five children and will be visiting here this coming Friday afternoon and Saturday.  We would appreciate a terrific turnout of our Leadership Committee members, faculty, staff, students that are around, community (including Man Club), families, etc. for this Friday, March 18 at 6:00 pm potluck dinner!  Everyone is welcome and encouraged to introduce yourselves to this family.

The FOCUS "Fellowship of Catholic University Students" program is one of the most coveted Catholic programs in the U.S. right now.  Many universities are trying to get to the top of the list in order to have the privilege of having four FOCUS missionaries on their college campuses.  The program has a known track record of successfully evangelizing the Gospel to college students.  Fr. Paul's efforts have been successful in raising funds (some of you have helped with this), and his attendance at a conference with 10 of our students has put us in a favorable position for this wonderful opportunity.  Please come and meet the Vigils and support this new chapter in our SFA campus ministry!

Please REPLY to Kim by tomorrow (Wednesday) evening 8 pm with what you intend to bring.  If you are unable to bring food or drink, that's OK, just let us know that you plan to attend and bring yourselves!

Blessings,
Linda Parr
